Thomas is the son of the late Thomas J. Kealey, Jr. and Theresa Kealey of Milton. He is survived by his sister, Nancy Kealey and her husband, Michael Powers, of Falmouth, MA, his sister, Carolyn FitzGerald of Falmouth, MA, and his nieces, Alexandra FitzGerald of Venice, CA and Brianne FitzGerald of Cambridge, MA. Thomas was born October 11, 1956. He graduated from Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, MA, and Northeastern University. Interment was private. leave a guestbook entry Elizabeth Shirlee Scott by jdolanElizabeth Shirlee Scott, 85, of Brockton passed away January 17, 2021. Elizabeth was born on September 25, 1935 at Boston City Hospital to Elizabeth (Sheridan) and Stephen Scott. She was the youngest of two children. Her brother Raymond Scott Sr. predeceased her. Growing up in the city, Shirlee came to know many people and was a graduate of Girl’s High School in Boston. As a young woman, Shirlee had two children, Richard William Scott (deceased), and Janytt Lorraine Scott. After the death of her birth parents’ she and her two children were welcomed into the arms of Leslie and Musette Gray, who with the help of their expansive family raised and nurtured her and her children to this day. Elizabeth was a very industrious woman who began working as soon as she was able. She started her career as a launderer, where she would clean and press the clothes of many of the famous Jazz musicians who would tour Boston as she would famously say. She worked as a waitress in several bars around the city. This is where she would come to meet a lot of people who would become friends and extended family. She spent many years at Stride Rite, worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a printer, and ultimately for Pitney Bowes, where she worked as a printer for 25 years before retiring. Lizzie, as she was also known lived a full, colorful and unconventional life. Sharp and quick witted, she could always say something to make you laugh! She had a great sense of humor! She also found great satisfaction in being made to laugh! At the same token, she was empathetic and would often listen to your problem(s) and offer sage wisdom and advice from her vast life experiences. Shirlee was generous beyond compare. She was a great provider, and fiercely protective to those she loved! She leaves behind a great legacy to which her family and friends can recall with warmth, happiness, and smiles! Shirlee is survived by her daughter Janytt, grandchildren Darrell, Marc, Indyia (Winnie), and Michael. Great grandchildren Asia, Khari, Khamyle, Niasia and Kaiden, and great, great grandchild Tyrin Jr. Nephews Raymond Scott Jr, Dwight, Stephen, and Joseph, and niece, Tika Scott, along with a host of extended family. A Funeral Service will be celebrated at , 460 Granite Avenue, EAST MILTON SQUARE, Saturday, January 23 at 12:00 PM. Family and friends invited. Born in Quincy and raised in Milton, Marie was a graduate of Milton High School. She was a retired clerk at Financial Publishing Company. Marie greatly enjoyed family gatherings, especially at the Cottage at Big Sandy Pond, bingo with friends, loved to socialize with family and friends and loved seeing all her nieces and nephews and being able to see their children. Beloved wife of the late Brian J. Baranowski. Loving daughter of Alicia M. (McHugh) Collett and the late Robert C. Collett. Sister of Robert C. Collett Jr, John Collett, Elizabeth C. He was a cherished grandfather (Papa”) of Tatiana, Marcel, Jr., Mikaura, Jenelle, Manny, Marcelino, Jyshele, Jay, Baby J, Niahl, Nalani and Naila. Brother of Gualdina Lopes, Alberto Rosa, Luiza Lopes DoCanto, Olivia Mendes Fonseca and the late Venancio Gomes, Jose Gomes and Isabel Mendes. Marcelino is also survived by many extended family and close friends. Marcelino was born and raised in Mosteiro, Cape Verde. He migrated to the United States in the early 1960s where he settled in Boston. He met and married the love of his life Maria Barbosa. They started a family and later put down roots in Braintree where they raised their four children. He was a machinist at a plastic manufacturing plant where he was a dedicated employee for over 30 years. Marcelino was a devoted Catholic and was very proud of his Cape Verdean heritage. Most of all Marcelino loved spending time with his family and friends who were the cornerstone of his life. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known him. Murphy passed away suddenly in Manosque, France, December 29, 2020. He was born August 13, 1963 in Boston, MA to Dr. John Michael and Susan Jane Murphy. Stephen was a 1982 Graduate of Don Bosco High School and 1989 graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. After graduating from Massachusetts Maritime Academy, Stephen spent 8 years working as an engineer on merchant marine ships, traveling all over the world. From 1998 thru early 2006 he began work as an engineer for a division of Tuthill Corporation in Canton, MA. In 2007, Stephen began working as an engineer in the nuclear power industry, working on plants under construction in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Abu Dhabi. He was most recently employed as a Nuclear Project Engineer by ITER in southern France, a 35 nation collaboration to build the world’s largest tokamak, a magnetic fusion device that has been designed to prove the feasibility of fusion as a large-scale and carbon-free source of energy based on the same principle that powers our Sun and stars. He was pre-deceased by his parents Dr. John Michael and Susan Jane Murphy and his oldest sister, Mary Conti of Chevy Chase, Maryland.
